OK, so I couldn’t leave well enough alone. Last year, I created really cute bags to decorate my mantle. This year, I decided to take the Santa boxes I made last week and add Rudolph, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen!
How cute are these boxes?!?! I totally LOVE them and they make me SMILE!
To make the reindeer, I used crumb cake card stock. You can get one reindeer out of one sheet of card stock. The eyes were punched with the 3/4 in punch and the largest circles from the owl punch, and adhered to the box with dimensionals. I used a chalk marker to make the detail in the eyes. Glimmer red paper is Rudolph’s nose and the other reindeer have chocolate chip noses, which are also adhered with dimensionals. The reindeer’s ears are from the Blossom punch, cutting one of the petals to a triangle at the middle of the flower, curling the paper up and adhering with liquid glue. The antler’s are from retired DSP and a retired leaf die, though any chocolate chip DSP and the Autumn Accents Bigz XL die would work fine too. I used a chalk marker to make the detail in the eyes.
How do you like this year’s version of my mantle? Leave me a comment below!
