It’s freezing here in Happy Valley today. Hopefully these flowers will warm us up! No stamping was done with today’s project. Sometimes those are my favorite, especially if I can use my punches and new fringe scissors! Part of me wants to draw smiley faces in the center of my flowers. What do you think?
- Flowers were made with the Blossom Punch and daffodil delight cardstock and the centers are punched from the 1 in. circle punch in tangerine tango, and 3/4 in circle punch whisper white.
- I used the Sale-a-Bration DSP (only available for another two weeks), Sweet Sorbet, to cut strips for the flower stems, and tied pistachio pudding 3/8 in. ruffle stretch trim around the DSP for leaves.
- The grass at the bottom of the card was created with pistachio pudding cardstock and the coveted Fringe Scissors (on backorder with availability undetermined).
- I gave the flower centers a “pop” with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I hope todays card warms you and reminds us that there’s only a few more days until spring! Winter has to come to an end, right?
