A few weeks ago, I posted a challenge to my downline group, Handmade Crafters. This is the first of what I hope to be an ongoing series of “Chopped” challenges. Every participant was given a melon mambo ribbon, a piece of 1/8 in. silver ribbon, and a piece of Moonlight DSP, cut with a starburst framelit. They had a week to complete the challenge and post it to the groups Facebook page.
I LOVE the results! Everyone used these items in different ways and came up with 3 totally different projects. Here’s what we created!
I made this cute birthday card using the cupcake punch and some scraps of the Moonlight DSP for the cupcake wrapper and dots of melon mambo cardstock for the sprinkles. The saying was colored with lost lagoon and melon mambo markers, huffed, and stamped. Check out tomorrow’s post to see where the inspiration came for my card!
Carol chose the neutral side of the starburst DSP and went with a pink and green card, because she wanted to use her new old olive blendabilities pens. Adorable!
Denise made a cover for her mini album made from the Celebrations Basics Kit. You can find details about this album, today, on her blog: Denise Foor Studio PA. Work of Art and Silver Embossing featured. Love it!
